We had a wonderful turnout for our November meeting! We would like to thank the Plantation Police Department for an informative presentation on Artificial Intelligence (AI). We learned about the various scams currently circulating and received helpful tips on how to avoid becoming a victim.
The presentation was followed by a delicious Thanksgiving meal catered by Webby's Pub. Illona (Webby's owner) outdid herself - the meal was fantastic, and no one walked away hungry!
Thanksgiving is a time to reflect and give thanks for the blessings of the past year, including family, friends, and community. It is important for fostering gratitude, strengthening relationships, and appreciating life's gifts.
Wishing you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving, and we look forward to seeing you at the Holiday Party in December!

Teachers Recognized
Wednesday, November 19th, was the second public opportunity for PWC to be recognized by the City's Educational Advisory Board for our sponsorship of their newly established teacher recognition event. Mrs. Trisha DePasquale was feted with a $100 award and other gifts of appreciation for her outstanding teaching achievements at the regular meeting of the Plantation City Council. The other two recipients one from
Central Park Elementary, Marie Berlingeri, and Holly Brandt from Seminole Middle School could not attend the event. Congratulations!
