A Real Senior Moment (September) - Judy McLeod
Our Honorary guest for the September General Meeting was Judy McLeod.
Our guest is 83 years young. When asked what was the one thing she liked the most about being a club member, she responded in saying…”I feel good about all the club does for the community and for its members. It is truly a giving club.
Judy, thank you so much for saying what so many feel!

Thank You, Members
Thank you, Club members, for the beautiful cut-out holiday stockings that were brought to the September general meeting. The members of my sewing guild will continue to sew them for the troops and veterans.

Tiger Buck Store - October General Meeting
The Tiger Bucks Store will open its doors this week to a school of excited students with bright smiles and shining eyes - almost like Christmas morning!
All of your donations are greatly appreciated and much enjoyed by the children. I encourage you to get involved on our store days or just stop by to check us out. Hoping to see you soon!

F.L.I.T.E. Soars With Gratitude
I have said many times that it takes a village to raise a child… well, we continue to answer the call to our young adults in need through the F.L.I.T.E. program. As a reminder, Fort Lauderdale Independence, Training & Education Center works with youths that have aged out of the foster care program.
This year we devoted our DAY OF SERVICE to them. Combating domestic violence, we supported this center by providing much needed nonperishables to their food bank.
They were VERY grateful we were again able to help.
Your level of devotion and contribution continues to be the biggest feather in my hat.
Thank you for caring the way you do. Want to learn more about F.L.I.T.E.? www.flitecenter.org
