Doggie Palooza - January 2020

January 25th dawned warm and sunny, in stark contrast to the 2019 Doggie Palooza that was rained out. Happy Tails Park was full of fur, barks and wagging tails.
 
The Club was a gold sponsor for the event. With our booth near the park entrance we got to see dogs of all shapes and sizes. Members passed out “save the date” cards for the March GardenFest. Many people told us they already had the event on their calendars.
 
As in previous years we raised money for K-9 Companions by offering donations for doggie bandanas and toys. Our members had the privilege of being one of the judges for the best dressed dog, best trick, and dog-owner
look-alike contest.
 
A big thank you to the members who worked our booth – Luanne Burg, Agnes Mathey, Judy McCloud, Gail Triviz. Also, a thank you to Martha Gregory for donating bandana material, dog biscuits and several other items for the fund raising.
