Easter Egg Hunt
For the first time in two years the City’s Easter Egg Hunt was back at Pop Travers field. The Plantation’s Women’s Club sponsors this event every year. Over 300 kids took part in the event. Anyone who has ever attended the event knows that when the city says it starts at 10:00 AM, the whistle to start is not delayed. Each year there are children who miss the hunt because they arrive after the whistle blows and this year was no different. Club members were present to help with the disappointed late arrivals by having candy to pass out. The City gave a big thank you to the Club on the back page of the event program and on several signs around the park.
