February General Meeting - Public Issues
Our February meeting was very successful, We had the pleasure and it was our honor to have our City's Mayor Diane Veltri-Bendekovic and council members answer questions brought to them by our members.
We had a delicious lunch provided by Chick-Fil-A and Plantation Diner - both of them did a great job. Please try to patronize these wonderful local businesses.
Our theme for the meeting was Valentine's Day and the room looked so beautiful - centerpieces of hearts on a stand and take home bags of conversation candies and an old fashion valentines card. Cupcakes from Sam's club adorned with heart shape rings on top.
Prizes were given to Bobbie Lariccia Most Themed, Gloria Merritt 1st Cutie, Betty Ozelas 2nd Cutie, and Eirene Stansbury, Most Glamorous.
Special thank you to our President Helen Ackerman as well as the ladies that helped her with the decisions that had to be made while I was back in Pennsylvania.
And of course we could not have done it without our kitchen and set up committee people.
