Home Life - F.L.I.T.E.
October General Meeting - 10/12/21
Thank you ladies for such an outstanding event during our October general meeting.
As I was one of the first to arrive that morning, words can’t express how proud I was of our Club each time someone walked in with a bag, a box or a container. We truly showed our passion for taking care of children. Especially “aged out” foster children that have nowhere or no one to turn to.
The Flite Center was thrilled to receive all the goods. I especially appreciated the shocked look on the face of our guest speaker, saying that she needed to call more of her staff to help transport the donations. All in all, there were three carloads of goods as well as substantial monetary gains. I warned her beforehand, when our Club says that we stand behind a cause… we really stand behind a cause.
I couldn’t have asked for a better turn out. Thank you so much for believing in this cause as much as I do. We will be able to continue to show our loving support in the coming months. Stay tuned…

Dear Karinne and Plantation Woman's Club,
Thank you for donating various household goods and for the monetary contribution to FLITE Center. Your support allows us to provide much needed services to youth aging out of foster care, chronically homeless youth, youth who have experienced human trafficking and LGBTQ+ youth. Since 2009, FLITE Center has been providing our community youth with the programs and services required to support their journey to independence.
Our mission is to guide those aging out of foster care and other vulnerable youth for successful transition to independence through education, employment, housing, wellness, resource navigation and system of care coordination.
If you would like to schedule a meeting or a group tour, please contact me at 786.252.0919.
On behalf of FLITE Center, thank you!
Grace M. Ugalde-Wolpert,
Chief Development Officer FLITE Center
